Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Support
Psilocybin (magic mushrooms) can assist you in your mindful emergence. With adequate preparation and integration, plant medicine and other psychedelics can be valuable tools for self-discovery when used in an informed, safe and responsible way. Cultivating a grounded mindset in a safe setting is key to a journey that has the potential to be meaningful and transformative.
We will not supply you with or refer you to illegal sources of psilocybin. In the interest of safety and growth, we share what we have learned from courses, research, and lived experience to create a responsible and therapeutic use of psilocybin.
Plant Medicine/Psychedelic Preparation Sessions
We spend time exploring your history, reasons for engaging with this plant medicine, concerns, and intentions. We develop trust and rapport. We explore trauma-sensitive therapeutic movement, mindfulness, and breathing practices for developing capacities to stay curious and grounded. Margaret is trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems), a compassionate, non-pathologizing approach for both preparation and integration work.
Margaret and Eddie are a trained and experienced team. We hold sacred space for you to dive deep, stay with you the whole time, and support you unconditionally. Our balanced masculine/feminine energy can create a secure, compassionate and psychologically flexible container. It is widely accepted by experts doing this work that having two “space holders” or “sitters”, male and female, is ideal for the safety and optimal experience using plant medicines or other psychedelics intentionally. Both Margaret and Eddie take part in every stage, from the initial consultation until completion of the all-important integration.
Following your journey, we assist you in recalling, exploring, and discerning your unique messages. The meaning you discover is yours alone to weave into the fabric of your life.
Integration Is More Important Than the Plant Medicine/Psychedelic Journey
In the weeks and months following a psilocybin experience, neuroplasticity provides fertile ground for positive change. Your brain is primed for new ideas and behaviors. You choose what thoughts you want to encourage and envision the action steps you plan to take.
Without integration support, you may be at risk of returning to old, familiar patterns of thinking and behavior without intending to regress. We show you how to use your inner resources to work with your revelations, in small ways, repeated over time; an approach that ensures your efforts to shift will succeed.
Integrative Breathwork Included
Before your psilocybin journey, explore a 2-hour Integrative Breathwork session. Similar to Holotropic Breathwork, Integrative Breathwork is a powerful form of accelerated breathing, typically done while lying down, with headphones and covered eyes, accompanied by evocative music. Using your breath, you will drop into an enhanced state of consciousness, guided only by your inner wisdom and a specifically designed playlist.
We provide:
- Intention setting practices
- Slow, simple therapeutic movements to ground your energy
- Mindful somatic meditation instruction
- Breathing practices for emotional balance
- Integrative Breathwork
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Techniques for being with fear or discomfort
- Integration sessions, both private and group
- A nourishing meal at the completion of your ceremony
Disclaimer: Psychedelics are largely illegal substances, and we do not encourage or condone their use where it is against the law. However, we accept that illegal drug use occurs and believe that offering responsible harm reduction information is imperative to keeping people safe.
What is the Divine Assembly?
The Divine Assembly is a community of spiritual seekers that believes psilocybin mushrooms, as an ancient sacrament that is pervasive across many cultures, helps us commune directly with the Divine. Sincerely-held religious beliefs are legally protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. The Divine Assembly is a church that connects people to self, others and the Divine, protecting responsible and religious use of psilocybin, cultivating health and healing through prayer, meditation, ceremony, and our sacrament of psilocybin mushrooms. Margaret and Eddie are members of The Divine Assembly church.
